Aunt Gwen,
Being the child of your only sister, me and Bri always thought we were special. I have so many memories of you. I remember when you use to tell me when I was little I couldn't pronounce your name. You always told me I use to say
"Aunt Genny Gen can I have some gummy gum", wow memories they mean so much. I remember when you use to get us girls for the summer and no matter what the situation was you made sure we came down and we were tooken care of. I wrote this poem: Aunt Genny Gen strong.... precious full of life. Aunt Genny Gen who laughed when I couldn't say "aunt Gwen" she never stop me from saying "Aunt Genny Gen". Aunt Gwen a strong woman who knew how to turn a life situation from negative to positive. In her final moment, my eyes filled with tears. I could feel myself breaking like the levees, turning away looking at death as fear. A woman... a living example of how we need to trust in walking closer to christ. Aunt Gwen thank you this experience this has giving me a different outlook on life. Thank you for smiling and saying no tears in the last moments of your life, which made me feel like that little girl who couldn't say "Aunt Gwen", know that I would never forget you... Aunt Genny Gen.
Love you always,
Annette Latrice Trader-Opher

Times like these you want to try and remember every good thing you can. I can remember Gwen's smile and the advice she gave me about relationships as a teenager. Glad that I can say her life touched mine and I will always remember she was a sweet, loving and giving soul. My prayers go out to you family as you celebrate the life and love of Gwen.

Such a beautiful smile and loving spirit. I remember spending time with Gwen as a teen, and one thing I will always remember was she gave me some very wise advice about relationships that I have been able to share with others. Her life was a blessing to me and I am glad to have known her. My love and prayers to the Trader family, wish you all the love, comfort and strength in the Lord as you celebrate the life of Gwen and say your earthly goodbyes.
