Willards—Allene C. Richardson, 92, of Willards died Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Born in Shortley, DE she was the daughter of the late Fred Tolbert Conaway and Olivette Rhoda Baker.
Mrs. Richardson was a longtime member of Eden United Methodist Church and past president of the United Methodist Women. She was also a member of the Willards Senior Citizens Association. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who enjoyed being a homemaker and tending to her vegetable garden.
She is survived by two sons, Don E. Richardson and his wife Donna of Salisbury and Sidney T. Richardson and his wife Kay of Willards; two daughters, Betty Lou Kulp and her companion Robert Lenhart of Salisbury and Iris C. McCabe and her husband Michael of Millsboro; nine grandchildren, Christina Westover of Sterling, VA, Dr. W. David Kulp, III and his wife Dr. Heather Kimmel of Falls Church, VA, Lee Richardson and his wife Dana of Willards, Lisa Morris and her husband Tom of Parsonsburg, Jim Richardson and his wife Rhonda of Willards, Renee Hall and her husband Joshua of Salisbury, Mark Richardson and his wife Krista of Baltimore, Jason McCabe and his wife Renae of Millsboro, and Brandon McCabe of Millsboro; great-grandchildren, Rebecca Richardson, Cody Morris, Mackenzie and Maggie Richardson, Rachel and Nathan Kulp, Jake and Alexis Westover, Mason, Parker, and Landry Hall, and Caleb and Joshua McCabe; sister, Gladys M. Phillips of Millsboro; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Welton A. Richardson in 2001; and two sisters, Grace M. Hopkins and Phyllis R. Mills.

A graveside funeral service will be held Sunday at 2PM at Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury.
