Carolton "Corky" Bailey

Snow Hill—Carolton "Corky" Bailey 78 of Snow Hill, died Saturday, December 8, 2012. Born in Norfolk, VA he was the son of the late Lora Henry Bailey and Adela Bailey.

Mr. Bailey was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Powellville VFW Post 9841. He retired from Moore's Business Forms in Snow Hill after 40 years, working as a printing press operator. He loved to spend time boating and listening to country music.

He is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie Bailey of Snow Hill; his sons, Carlton Gary Bailey of Snow Hill; James Michael Bailey of Salisbury and Jeffery L. Bailey and his wife, Carolyn of Snow Hill; granddaughter, Tracey B. Rivera and great-grandson, Caleb B. Fuller both of Oak Hall and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, December 13, 2012 at 4:00 pm at Holloway Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Andrew Frick will officiate.
