FRANCES STEVENS Obituary
SPRINGHILL, Fla. — Frances Bounds Stevens, widow of James E. Stevens, passed away Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011.
She was born March 13, 1936. She was a retired school bus driver for Charles County, and has resided in Springhill since 1996.
She was a native of Snow Hill and is predeceased by her brother, Preston Bounds; and sister, Mary Bounds Wimbrow.
She has four children, Allen Stevens of Salisbury, Luanne Hawes of Kokomo, Ind., Rebecca Fisher of Springhill and James Stevens of LaPlata, Md. She has 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; two surviving sisters, Ruth Pusey of Pocomoke City and Doris Bowen of Winter Haven, Fla.
Her remains will be interred next to her husband's in Snow Hill in Christian Church cemetery. A memorial service was held at her home church in Springhill and a celebration of her life will be held July 16 in Snow Hill.

A wonderful woman, mother, grandmother & great grandmother. I only had the pleasure of knowing her briefly but all I ever heard about her was goodness. <3

Frances will be deeply missed.... She gave me the Gift of her Blessing to wed Rebecca. As well, Rebecca was an incredible daughter and caregiver to her Mom, she stood by her "all the way to Heaven". God Bless you both. Love, Jim

Frances was a fond classmate at Snow Hill High School, class of '54. I remember spending a few overnighters at her family farm when I was in junior high. Sad to see her leave.
