FRUITLAND — James Arthur Jones III, 37, of Fruitland died Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Born July 11, 1974, in Salisbury, he was a son of James Arthur Jones Jr. and his wife, Wanda, of Salisbury and Anna Somers Davis and her husband, Gary, of Salisbury.
He was a member of the "Dirty Dozen" hunting club in Snow Hill and a 1992 graduate of Parkside High School. Known as "Jr" and "Skeeter," he was a lifelong journeyman plumber. He loved hunting and fishing with his son and spending time with his children. He was a very loving husband to his wife.
He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Amanda Louise Parker Jones; two children, Rachael Denise Jones and Dylan James Jones; a grandmother, Laura Jones of Salisbury; a brother, Gary Davis Jr. of Salisbury; six sisters, Michelle Davis Hardy, Debbie Powell and Jaime Jones Hammond, all of Salisbury, Kimberly Jones Beeman and Alicia Davis Schultz, both of Parsonsburg, and Heather Jones Kirwan of Mardela Springs; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
A funeral service will be held Friday, Nov. 18, 2011, at 11 a.m. at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury, with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury.
