SALISBURY — June B. Rolley, 92, of Salisbury died Saturday, July 14, 2012, at Coastal Hospice at the Lake. Born Jan. 29, 1920, in Haskell County, Texas, she was a daughter of the late Walter E. Bunkley and Myrtie Mae Carpenter Bunkley.
Mrs. Rolley was a longtime member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, where she was very active in the parish and the school. She enjoyed her bowling league and gardening club.
She is survived by a son, Keith Rolley and his wife, Gini, of Albuquerque, N.M.; daughter, Donna Black of Matlacha, Fla.; three grandchildren, Adam Black (Michelle), Caroline Toadvine (Mat) and Andrew Black; great-grandchildren, Madeline and Jackson Toadvine, Cadence Garrison and Emma Grace Black; brother, Wilmer Bunkley of Abilene, Texas; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Donald H. Rolley; brothers, Earl, Neal and Dan Bunkley; and sisters, Mary Jones, Madge Sheofee and Kathryn Brown.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury.
