Oriole—ORIOLE - Nancy Kay Hall, 68, of Oriole died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Sunday
January 20, 2013.
Born in Lewes, Delaware on February 7,1944, she was the daughter of Reese Hickman and the late
Nancy retired from the Agricultural Stabilization Conservation Service (Part of the USDA) in 2010. She
also farmed side by side with her late husband for over 40 years along with being a loving mother and
grandmother. Her favorite past time was working in her home and yard; and spending time with her
daughters and grandchildren.
She is survived by her father Reese Hickman of Selbyville, Delaware; two daughters Denise Barnette and
her husband John, Kimberly Williams and her husband Paul and a step-daughter Linda Sperry and her
husband Bob; five grandchildren Cody Williams, Joey Williams (US Navy), Mark Benton and his wife
April, Nicky Benton and Angie Todd and her husband Jonathan; three great grandchildren Brett, Ashton
and Parker Benton.
In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years Russell Hall; two
brothers Bill Jearman and Gerald Jearman; and sister Barbara Thomas.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Hinman Funeral Home in Princess Anne. Friends may call One Hour prior to service time. The Rev. William Kniceley will officiate.
Interment will be in St. Peters United Methodist Cemetery in Oriole.
