Ocean Pines—Patricia Lynn Hardman, 55, of Ocean Pines passed away on Sunday, Nov., 11, 2012, at Coastal Hospice At the Lake. Born in Washington DC, she was the daughter of the late William Augusta McClosky and Florence Regina Poore McClosky.
Patricia lived in Fairfax, Va., for 19 years raising her children, serving on their PTA's, planning community gatherings, and working at W.T.Woodson HS. She relocated to the beachfront in 2007, and worked as an administrative assistant with the Worcester County Board of Education. She was known for her generous spirit, beautiful smile, and captivating sense of humor. She was her children's biggest fan and loved being on the athletic field watching them play. Creativity and graphic design, working in the yard at her home, and being with her family were some of her favorite activities.
She is survived by three children, Callie Britton Hardman and her husband, Matthew DeKeuster of Newport News, Va., Trevor Patrick Hardman and her grandson, Braydon of West River, Md., and Kamryn Alice Evans of Berlin; a brother, William George McClosky of Wilmington, N.C.; a sister, Michael Ann Birckner and her husband, William of Berlin; and her beloved dog, "Maggie."
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Max Hardman.
A Celebration of Her Life will be held on Saturday, November, 17, 2012, at 2:30 p.m. at the Ocean City Worship Center located at 10736 Ocean Gateway, Berlin, MD 21811. The family wishes to express that this will be a time of celebration with the services officiated by Pastor Bryan Punger; reception to follow.
