William Bryant Obituary

William "Joe" Bryant

Salisbury-William "Joe" Bryant, 75, passed away, July 9, 2017 in Salisbury, Maryland. A private burial was held July 13th at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery in Blades, Delaware near the Nanticoke River.

Born in 1941 in Washington, DC, to Marion and Viola (Mills) Bryant, Joe was a gifted athlete and played various varsity sports for Anacostia High School. He was a printer and later foreman in the DC Government Printing Office for 35 years. Upon retirement, Joe moved to his beloved Eastern Shore where he enjoyed fishing, crabbing, bird watching and making friends. Joe is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Elena Bryant, and his daughter and son-in-law, Karen Bryant and Christopher Eandi, and three grandchildren. He also leaves behind a surviving sister, four brothers and many dear friends.

Memorial donations may be made to Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury, MD or the Chesapeake Bay Foundation.

So Very Sorry to Hear that. Joe and I go back all the way to Elementary School together. He was always a Good Friend to everyone He was Also President of Our Graduating Class in 1957 at Hart Junior High School in Congress Heights D.C. and as most of those who Knew Joe were aware that He was A Stellar Athlete. I'm Pretty sure I remember that He Had at Least Two brothers One was Roger and His older Brother was always called Buddy and a Sister Norma I Believe .
