Tymeir Deon'ta Montece Dennis

Berlin-Tymeir Deon'ta Montece Dennis, 16, of here, departed this life on Friday, November 8, 2013, at Atlantic General Hospital. Born in Salisbury, he was the son of Quintin (Rebecca) Dennis, Jr. and Tynise Bowen, both of Berlin.

"Spud," as he was affectionately known, attended Stephen Decatur High School in Berlin and was also a student of the HVAC Program at Worcester Technical High School in Newark. He was employed by Atlantic Stand in Ocean City as a cook.

He was a member of St. John A.M.E. Church in Bishopville where he was a member of the Youth Group.

In addition to his parents, loving memories will be cherished by: one brother, Tyheim Bowen of Berlin; five sisters, Tynajah Bowen, Tamyzia Bowen and Trenity Bowen, all of Berlin, and Victoria West and Terrionna West, both of Selbyville, DE; paternal grandparents, Quintin Dennis, Sr. and Alice Poulson, both of Berlin; paternal great-grandparents, Jack White, Sr. and Edna Poulson, both of Berlin; other grandparents, James and Mary Johnson, both of Selbyville; several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Kathleen Bowen, and maternal great-grandmother, Edith Hudson.

Tymeir will lie in repose on Friday from 6 to 8 PM at St. John A.M.E. Church located on 1038 Bishopville Road in Bishopville and Saturday from 10 to 11 AM at Calvary Pentecostal Church located on 13325 Worcester Highway in Bishopville. The funeral service will begin at 11 AM. Dr. Roxie Dennis, Tymeir's aunt, will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Paul's Cemetery located on Assateague Road in Berlin.
