Katy, Hannah, Sarah and LD, I have kept in touch with Rachel through Karen (Cooper), and was so glad to have had the opportunity to see Rachel on my last visit to Salisbury. She was just as beautiful as ever! What a smile and great sense of humor. I watched her grow as she was a friend of Emylee. A beautiful girl inside and out! My heart and the hearts of all who have been praying for Rachel over the past 5 years in the Annapolis area are aching. But greater still is the happiness that we know, as we know she is now with our God and His angels. With deep sympathy to you all, Pat Compton (Lee's mother)

Dearest Katie and family,
Rachel was a joy to be around - I LOVED the brief time that she helped me at SU, but I understood when she stopped. She was lke an angel - I will miss her smile but I will always see her in my mind. I will always smile when I think of the wonderful, sweet, corageous angel that I knew. You were such a wonderful Mother Katie, as was in evidence in that wonderful girl! Love you.

Rachel was such an example to me of courage and faith. I feel very blessed to have known her and been able to walk along the outer edges of this journey with her through LD. Please know that my prayer is for comfort, peace, and strength for all of you as you celebrate and remember the wonderful girl that she was.
