She was a devoted and loving wife for 65 years to former State Senator Peter A. Bozick. She was a wonderful mother of seven children, a grandmother to 25 children and a great-grandmother to 12 children. She is survived by her sisters, Dorothy Chiaramonte and Carol (George) Lodowski, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Marilyn was deeply spiritual and prayed the rosary with her friends every week. She was well known for her singing during a 30-year period where she performed at various Christian churches in Southern Maryland. She performed concerts at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C., with Carey Landry, composer of contemporary Catholic liturgical music. She was a talented artist and gifted athlete who played shortstop for the semi-pro baseball team Long Island Jewels before her family moved to Maryland.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, April 23, at 1 p.m. at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
