Crisfield-Lucille T. Evans, 89, of Crisfield died on Saturday, June 21, 2014, at the Alice Byrd Nursing Home.
Born on Rhodes Point on July 9, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Earl Tyler and Ollie Evans Tyler. She was a cafeteria worker for many years at Crisfield High School. Her husband, Roland H. Evans, died on Oct. 15, 1990.
She was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the United Methodist Women and the Wharton Sunday School Class.
Surviving are a daughter, Linda Sterling, and a son, Roland W. "Woody" Evans, both of Crisfield; six grandsons, Jeff, Steve, Troy, Shaun and Bobby Gene Sterling; a granddaughter, Jennifer DeVage; 17 great-grandchildren, and 19 great-great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents and her husband she was preceded in death by her brothers, Howard and Harold Tyler, and her son-in-law, Bobby Gene Sterling.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 25, at 2 p.m. at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Paul Holland will officiate and interment will be in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
