Crisfield-Doris E. Good, 87, of Crisfield, died Friday, July 18, 2014 at Alice Byrd Tawes Nursing Home in Crisfield.
Born in Enola, Pennsylvania on November 8, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Edouard and Alta Seitz Heckert. She had been making her home in Crisfield since 1977.
She was a 1944 graduate of Enola High School and attended Loyola College in Baltimore. She was the co-owner and operator of Sea Mark Marine and Crisfield Propeller.
Formerly she worked in the Navy Depot Photography Lab during World War II, was co-owner of Sea Mark Marina in Charlestown, MD, was Executive Secretary for Colonial Charlestown in Cecil County, and was owner and operator of Rumbley Point Campground. She was formerly a member of the Republican Women's Club, Somerset County Business and Professional Women, Charlestown Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, Charlestown Colonial Dames, St. John's Methodist Church, and North East High School Band Boosters.
She is survived by her husband of almost 68 years, Marcus G. Good; her son, Mark W. Good and Donna Milliner; and her daughter, Jill Rayfield and husband Charles; all of Crisfield.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Edward Heckert.
A memorial service will be held at a later date, as well as urn interment in Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery in Enola, PA.
