Westover-Randolynn P. Cottman, 42, of Westover departed this life into eternal rest on Friday August 1, 2014, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Md. Randolynn was born December 20, 1971 and was the daughter to William & Arvenia Saunders, Jr. and the late Randolph Cottman, Jr.

Randolynn received her early education in Somerset County graduating from Washington High School in 1989. She later received her Associates' of Arts in Elementary Education from Wor Wic Community College in 2005, a Bachelors of Art in Sociology from University of Maryland Eastern Shore in 2007 and a Master's Degree of Education Guidance & Counseling from Wilmington University in 2012. Before her death Randolynn was pursuing a second Master's Degree.

During her early childhood Randolynn was brought up in John Wesley United Methodist Church, Westover, MD and later became a member of St. Mary's Missionary Baptist Church in Princess Anne, MD. While at St. Mary's Randolynn became a member of the choir and recently began and directed the youth choir there. She was also a member of the United Methodist women organization. Before her death Randolynn was employed by Wicomico County Board of Education and served as vocational assistant at Parkside High School.

Randolynn was preceded in death by her father Randolph Cottman, Jr.; her maternal grandparents Fannie B. Moses and Richard Brittingham and an uncle Vernon Taylor.

Randolynn is survived by the love of her life and her greatest accomplishment her son Eric Christopher Logan, Jr. She also leaves to cherish her memories her mother and stepfather Arvenia and William Saunders, Jr. of Westover; paternal grandparents Randolph & Rovella Cottman, Sr. of Princess Anne, two sisters Aricia (David) Ajose of Rockville and Natice Saunders of Princess Anne. One brother William (Chasity) Saunders III of Salisbury; One step brother and sister Jemar & Jevonne Cottman both of Matthews, NC.; 3 godchildren, 3 aunts, 1 uncle, 8 nieces, 5 nephews and a host of cousins and friends.

A viewing will be held Friday August 8, 2014 from 6 to 8 pm at Holloway Funeral Home at 501 Snow Hill Road Salisbury, MD and one hour prior to the service at the church. Funeral services will be held Saturday August 9, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Emmanuel Wesleyan Church 217 Beaglin Park Dr. Salisbury, MD.
