SALISBURY — Edna K. Bailey, 94, of Salisbury died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, at her home. Born in Salisbury, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Grace White.
Mrs. Bailey was a member of the Redmen's Lodge Pocahontas Ladies Auxiliary and American Legion Post 64 Auxiliary.
She is survived by grandchildren, Lynette Ennis and Michelle Bailey, both of Salisbury; great-grandchildren, Ashley Bailey of Valdosta, Ga., and Sara Cox and husband, Robert, of Tyaskin; great-great-grandson, Skylar Cox of Tyaskin; cousin, Darrell Deshield and his wife, Jan, of Fruitland; special friends, James and Karen McCaig and Margaret Frame and beloved longtime caregivers Deborah Howard and Mallory McCaig. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Bailey, and son, Gary Wayne Bailey.
A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Holloway Funeral Home, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Springhill Memory Gardens near Hebron.
