Crisfield—On Thursday, November 22, 2012, Lois Parks Adams went to be the Lord. She was a resident of the Alice Byrd Tawes Nursing Home in Crisfield.
Born in Crisfield on September 15, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Edward and Sally Marie Howard Parks. Her husband, Thomas Lee "Tommy" Adams, died March 31, 2007.
Lois will be remembered as the TV hostess at McCready Hospital where she worked for many years. She was a faithful member of the Crisfield Church of God, where she sang in the choir for 50 years. She was a Sunday School teacher and worked actively in the church. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmom.
She is survived by her only daughter, Brenda Tull and husband George of Crisfield; two grandsons, Brent Tull and wife Valerie of Marion and Greg Tull and wife Krista of Eden; three great-grandchildren, Kayla Joi Tull, Karen Abell and husband Dale, and John Earhart and wife Elliett; five great-great-grandchildren, Madelyn Abell, and Kaylin, Payden, Landon and Jase Earhart; and one sister, Millie Mason of Princess Anne.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Elsie Ward.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 25, 2012 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield where friends may call one hour prior. The Rev. Lebron Palmer will officiate. Interment will be in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
