Lakisha Patrice Jackson

Salisbury—Lakisha Bickerstaff Jackson, of Salisbury Maryland, was called to Heaven on Tuesday, November 27, 2012. Lakisha was born on May 30, 1973 to Rochelle Sadler and the late Arnold Bickerstaff. She was born in her hometown of Philadelphia, PA and later went on to attended Willingboro High School, in New Jersey where she received her High School Diploma. Lakisha was an awesome business woman and was employed at BBT bank where she served as Branch Manager for many years until her death. Lakisha was also attending Sojourner Douglass College pursuing her Bachelor's degree in Sociology. Lakisha was faithful member of New And Living Way Apostolic Church, where she served in various ministry capacities and was always willing to lend a helping hand. She was a loving mother to her four children and an amazing grandmother to her four grandchildren. Lakisha brought happiness to all who knew her and she will surely be missed. She is survived by her children, Harmony, Tyisha, Nicole and Malik; grandchildren, Jourdyn, Gwan Jr., Josiah and Na'Airah; her mother, Rochelle Sadler (PA); Step Father Ronald Clarkson (PA); Great Grandmother Ardie Chambers (PA); Grandmother Rachel Bickerstaff (PA); her Siblings, Rasheem Bickerstaff (PA), Laisha McDuffie (PA), Aquil Bickerstaff (PA) and Latoya Bickerstaff (PA). Lakisha is also survived by her Aunts, Jacqueline Deloatch (Charles) (NJ), Renee Hall (Joe) (MI), Roxanne Chambers (PA) and her God Parents Ronald Woodland and Mildred Howard.

Home going services for Lakisha Jackson will be held on Saturday December 8th, 2012 at New And Living Way Apostolic Church, located at 25744 Elzey Brown Loop, Mardela Springs, (San Domingo) Maryland 21837. The viewing will be held from 10 - 11am, with Home going services immediately following at 11am. The interment will be held at Spring Hill Memory Garden in Hebron Maryland. Services have been entrusted to Bennie Smith Funeral Home in Salisbury, MD. In lieu of flowers you may mail your donations to the Lakisha Bickerstaff Jackson Memorial Fund at, P.O.
