Milton L. Stevenson

Salisbury—Milton Lee Stevenson, 85, of here, departed this life on Monday, April 1, 2013, at his residence. Born in New Church, VA, he was the son of the late Nathaniel Stevenson and Georgia Mae Custis Stevenson.

He served in the United States Army during World War II. Prior to retiring, he was employed by the Campbell Soup Company as a dietician.

Mr. Stevenson was a member of First Baptist Church of Salisbury where he served as an usher.

He leaves to cherish fond memories with: his wife, Fanny M. Stevenson of Salisbury; three daughters, Lois Stevenson, Brenda Moses and Debra Ferguson, all of Salisbury; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by: one son, Reginald Stevenson; and one daughter, Linda White.

Mr. Stevenson will lie in repose on Monday from 6 to 7 PM at First Baptist Church located on 528 Booth Street and Delaware Avenue in Salisbury. The funeral service will begin at 7 PM. Rev. Dr. Lewis N. Watson will be the Officiating Pastor. Interment will be on Tuesday at 11 AM in Springhill Memory Gardens located on 27260 Ocean Gateway in Hebron.
