Salisbury, Maryland—James Preston Good, Jr. of Salisbury, MD passed away on Friday, April 19, 2013 at his home. He was 65.
He was born June 23, 1947 in Mardela, Maryland, the son of the late James P. Good, Sr. and Ottlie Good.
He served his country in the United States Army from 1965 to 1968. After his service, he married Doris Ann Good on January 29, 1971. He was a truck driver for most of his life, and delivered goods both locally and across the country. He was a member of the American Legion Post #64 in Salisbury. He was a quiet man who loved the simple things in life; his family and his home meant the world to him.
He is survived by his wife Doris Ann Gordy Good, a daughter, Arlene Shaheen and her husband Jay, two sons, Carson Bozman and his wife Kim all of Salisbury and Donald "Mike" Kelly of Pittsville, five grandsons, Ryan Bozman, M. Carson Bozman and his wife Angela, Jakob Bozman, Colton Shaheen and Dillon Shaheen, a great-grandson, Zachary Bozman, a sister, Ann Marie Murphy and a brother William Good. He was preceded in death by a brother Douglas Good.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at Noon at the Framptom Funeral Home in Federalsburg with Rev. Denzil Cheek officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery in Beulah. The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 12:00 at the Funeral Home.
