Salisbury-Donald Bryce Goslee, 81, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 13, 2013
He was born March 23, 1932 in Salisbury, the son of the late Ella Jeanette and Brice T. Goslee. He was married to the late Elizabeth Hastings Goslee, the love of his life, for 30 years. After graduating from Wicomico Senior High School in 1950, he served in the United States Navy from 1951-1955. He was employed by Baltimore County as a draftsman and at Dresser-Wayne Industries as a mechanical draftsman, retiring in 1997. Mr. Goslee was a faithful member of Liberty Church of Christ. He will be remembered as a soft-spoken and patient Christian who loved to study the bible. He was confined to a wheelchair for the last 10 years of his life.
He is survived by a daughter, Donna B. Adams of McAllen, TX; sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Steve Kirkland; nephew, David and his wife Rebecca Kirkland; and their daughter Avari all of Nashville, NC; cousin Jerry and his wife Carol McAllister of Salisbury, a cousin who was like a sister to him, Elizabeth Bussells of Fruitland; and many other cousins. His family is grateful to the caregivers at Wicomico Nursing Home and especially grateful to Donald's cousin, Judy and her husband Raymond Carey for their loving care and support while Donald was in the nursing home. They are also grateful for the constant help from the members of the Liberty Church of Christ.
A funeral service will be held Thursday at 11AM at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Minister Phillip Lee will officiate. Interment will follow in Wicomico Memorial Park.
