I have fond memories of Kathy both as a child and as a nurse. Growing up, she had a vitality and a joy about her -- a fun kid with a good head on her shoulders (as well as a pretty fair swimmer!). I only saw her a few times as an adult, but I remember (twice) waking up from anesthesia and seeing Kathy as my nurse - competent and professional. My condolences to Ann and James as well as to Nancy and the Simmons boys. Only the good die young!
