Berta Wilson Obituary
Plant City, FL-Berta Wilson, 84, of Plant City, FL, formerly of Salisbury & Ocean City, passed away at her home on Friday, November 18, 2016. Born in Munich, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Berta Arbinger.
"Bert" was a retired waitress, working for Mario's Restaurant in Ocean City and Johnny & Sammy's Alpine Room in Salisbury.
She is survived by 3 brothers, Egon Gurster & his wife, Edda, Helmuth Gurster and Teodor Arbinger, all of Germany; a sister in law, Bonnie Wendlandt & her husband, Hans of Parsonsburg; a caretaker for the past few years, Mary Barr of FL, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her mother, she was also preceded in death by her husband in 1992, Robert Lee Wilson and a brother, Josef Gurster.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 1:00pm at Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury.
Contributions may be made in her memory to St. Frances de Sales Catholic Church in Salisbury.

Berta was such a character. My family frequently dined at Marios. Everyone knew Berta! She also ran the Driftwood Motel. If kids got loud and rowdy she would cut off the electric. Then it would get real quiet.
My deepest sympathy to her family and friends.

I worked with Berta many years ago at Mario's Restaurant in Ocean City, Md. She was a HARD worker, loyal & so kind to everyone! We had such respect for her! May she rest in Peace. My condolences, Sympathies & prayers to her Family.
