. CRONIN, Brenda Elizabeth (nee Berry) . Passed away peacefully at Delta on September 22, 2013, following complications from cancer and pneumonia. She was the beloved wife of David for 45 years, loving mother of Linda and Stephen, and grandmother of Isaac, Samantha and Kieran Ginter. Brenda was born in Calgary in 1942, grew up in Clarkson (now Mississauga) and graduated from McGill University in Montreal. She lived for years in Niagara Falls before moving to Tsawwassen in 1983. Brenda always had an active interest in community affairs and politics, including working to found a woman's shelter in Niagara and to address environmental issues in Delta, BC. She was noted for her love of people and conversation and had a wide range of interests including art, cards, music and casinos. Friends will miss her outgoing personality and ability to connect with others. Those that have known Brenda have benefited from her insight, humor and willingness to help others. The family would like to thank the staff of the BC Cancer Agency, Delta Hospital and the Irene Thomas Hospice for their caring attention during her illness.
