Audrey Acton Obituary

Audrey Acton 94, of Tsawwassen died in January after a prolonged battle with cancer. Born near Manchester England, she is predeceased by her husband, Robert W.H. Acton (87 yrs) in 2006. She is survived by her daughter Heather Klinkhamer of Surrey and son David Acton of Delta, grandson Jesse Klinkhamer, and her sister June Moffatt and family of Santa Barbara, California. Departing England after the war with her mom and sister, she moved to Victoria where she met her future husband Robert - who was also a Hong Kong Veteran. Later moving to the Vancouver Wireless Station (AKA Boundary Bay Airport) and eventually to Tsawwassen. She spent many years working at the Delta Small Claims Court. She loved gardening, sailing, reading, and travel. Her favourite places were Hawaii and the Masai Mara Game Reserve in Kenya. She had an amazing life and loved her family dearly. She will be hugely missed by all. No service by request.

Audrey was a woman of special strength as she lived into her nineties and battled an illness. May her memory live on with you and may the comfort God gives be with you.
