Angela T Hernandez

Angela T. Hernandez died February 7, 2013 at Sierra Medical Center in El Paso, Texas after a brief illness.
Angela was born April 22, 1953 in Colonia Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. She became a citizen of the United States in 1976.
A lady of many talents, Angela will be remembered by her enormous capacity to love and care for all whom she encountered. She was a gifted and talented artist, an avid reader and a generous and kind soul. Her warm smile, cheerful countenance and constant willingness to always help, earned her the affectionate title of "Angela to the Rescue."
Angela was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio Q. and Benita T. Hernandez.
She is survived by her sister, Hortencia Camarena of Deming, her niece Benita Ester Camarena and Benita's children, Angel Nicole Camarena and Desiree Paris Brown, all of Reno, Nevada. She is also survived by her brother, Mario Hernandez (Roberta) of Los Lunas, NM.
Angela was retired from Qwest and presently was the co-owner, with her dear friend, Ben Martinez, of the Cottage Antiques and Furnishings on South Copper Avenue in Deming. Angela was also an integral part of the Galleria located on Eighth Street in Deming.
Angela's many friends and family are invited to a memorial service at 2 p.m., on Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013 at 701 West Pine St., in Deming. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, a donation to the Deming Arts Council or to the Deming Animal Guardians be considered.
