Emilia Orozco Vallejo, 66, Deming resident passed Wednesday July 19, 2017 at Mountain View Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces.
Visitation was Tuesday July 25, 2017 at 5 o'clock in the afternoon at Baca's Funeral Chapel. Funeral service will be there as well Wednesday July 26, 2017 at 10 o'clock with Paul Hernandez of the Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses presiding. Concluding services and interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
Emilia was born June 18, 1951 to Maria Bernabel Flores and Refugio Orozco in Tepames, Colima, Mexico. On May 24, 1974, she married Ruben V. Vallejo in Los Angeles, California. The couple moved to Deming in 1994 coming from San Diego, California.
Survivors include 3 sons, Ricardo Vallejo and wife Maria Alejandra of Deming, Yvan Vallejo of Florida, Jafet Vallejo of Deming; daughter, Priscilla Hutchison and husband Lige of Deming; 2 brothers, Pedro and Refugio Orozco; 3 sisters, Elena, Alicia and Concepcion; 6 grandchildren.
Emilia was preceded in death by parents, Refugio and Maria Orozco; husband, Ruben Vallejo and brother, Jose Orozco and a grandchild.
Serving as pallbearers are Damian, Diego, Ricardo and Juan Vallejo, Pedro and Refugio Orozco.
