Marilyn A. Corcoran, 87, a resident of Deming, passed away Tuesday April 23, 2013 at Mimbres Memorial Nursing Home.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Cremation has taken place at Baca's Mimbres Crematory.
Marilyn was born September 13, 1925 in Cleveland, Ohio to Henry and Evelyn Kuhn. She was a high school teacher in Arlington, Massachusetts and later came to Deming in 1992.
Locally she was an avid rockhound and was a member of the Deming Gem and Mineral Society. Marilyn was a member of St. Augustine's Anglican Church and the Ruth Chapter Order of Easter Star.
She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Corcoran of Deming; son, Philip Corcoran (Debbie) of Wakefield, Massachusetts, 2 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Henry Corcoran.
