Robert Vernon Crowell, 83, a resident of Deming, New Mexico, entered eternal rest on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at his residence.

Robert was born on March 13, 1930 in Providence, Rhode Island, to Harold Crowell and Ann Gofton. Robert served his country in the U.S. Air Force and retired from it, also.
Then he began teaching grade school in Oakridge, Oregon.
He is survived by his spouse, Sharol Rushing from Deming, NM; a son, Robert Brian Crowell and his spouse Elaine Hughes; and a sister, Ann Stanton from Connecticut.
He is preceded in death by both of his parents; his first wife, Mary Helen Choat; a son, Dwayne Crowell; four brothers Charles, Alfred, John and Norman Crowell; three sisters, Ethel, Roberta, and Muriel Crowell.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at 11 a.m., with full military honors at Son-Shine Baptist Church, 105 Manzanita SE Road.
Per his request, cremation will take place at Terrazas Crematory.
