Shirley Baeza "Chole" Allison Obituary
Shirley "Chole" Baeza Allison, 84, a lifetime Deming resident, passed away Wednesday June 20, 2012, at Mimbres Memorial Hospital.
Visitation will begin at 2 o'clock today, Friday, June 22, 2012, at Baca's Funeral Chapel, with a rosary service to follow at 6. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 10 o'clock in the morning at St. Ann Catholic Church, with Father Ronald Machado, CMF officiating. The rite of committal and interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
Shirley was born April 10, 1928 to Cuca Sepulveda and Hilario Baeza in Janos, Chihuahua, Mexico. She was a homemaker and a communicant at St. Ann's Catholic Church.
She is survived by daughter, Mary Jane Allison of Albuquerque; sons, Willie and Frank Allison of Deming, David and Thomas Allison of Las Cruces; sisters, Beatrice Brown of Vancouver, WA and Belia Burros of Statesville, NC; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant son, John B. Allison and sisters, Lydia and Socorro Diaz and Emma Sainz; brothers, Jose "Pepe," Hilario "Lalo," Juan "Johnny," and Manuel Baeza.
Serving as pallbearers will be David, Frankie, William, Matt and Andrew Allison and Mathew Gallegos.
