WILLIAM D. "BILL" KENNON, 59, a lifelong resident of Deming and local businessman died Monday June 3, 2013.
A memorial mass will be Saturday June 8, 2013 at 2 o'clock in the afternoon at Holy Family Catholic Church with Father Ron Machado, Pastor officiating. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
Bill was born July 12, 1953 in Deming to William and Petra (Grado) Kennon. He graduated from Deming High School and afterward entered the United States Navy Seabees. Upon his return Bill went to college and earned his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. Locally he was a Certified Public Accountant and was a well known and avid entrepreneur in local business. Bill was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and the Deming Rotary Club.
He is survived by his wife, Jill Kennon of Deming; mother, Petra Kennon of Deming; children, Thresia Kennon (Kevin) of Chicago, IL, Jordan Kennon of Albuquerque, Josh Kennon (Susan) of Nashville, TN, Dan Kennon of Deming; sisters, Socorro Jackson (Tom) of Grants, Lourdes Adair (Jim) of Rancho Santa Margarita, CA, Virginia Kennon and Frances Kennon of Deming; and his grandchildren, Isabell and Duke. Bill was preceded in death by his father William Kennon.
Honorary bearers are Dave Jones, John Strand, John Coffman, Jake Skelton, Jerry and Shane Franzoy and Lane Costilow.
