Adam Chavez Cabrera, 28, a life long resident of Deming, NM, entered eternal rest on Friday, June 22, 2012 at University Medical Center in El Paso, TX.
Adam was born on March 15, 1984 in Deming, NM to Victor Cabrera and Martha Chavez. Adam inspired many people inside his church and out. He loved music and was a terrific drummer. He also enjoyed hunting, being outdoors and spending time with his family and friends.
Adam was also a big Notre Dame College football fan and a Patriot fan. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by both of his parents; his lovely wife of 6 years, Jessica Cabrera of Deming, NM; three terrific sons, Jacob Cabrera, Elijah Cabrera and Joshua Cabrera of Deming, NM; three brothers, Victor Jr. Cabrera of Deming, NM; Moses Cabrera and his wife Carly of Massachusetts and Abraham Cabrera and his wife Elizabeth of Nebraska; one sister, Sarah Krowl and her husband Daniel of Deming, NM; three nieces, Chloe, Kendell and Kayden Cabrera; one sister-in-law, Sarah Teague and her two children, Devon and Rheganne; one brother-in-law, Kenneth Teague Jr. and his wife Denise and his two children, Alysa and Evan; paternal grandparents, Lorenzo and Belia Cabrera of Hurley, NM; Maternal grandparents, Kino and Belia Chavez of Deming, NM and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at River of Life Citi Church from 5-6 p.m., with the evening service beginning at 6 p.m., with Pastor Cesar Chavez officiating. Funeral service will be on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at 10 a.m., at River of Life Citi Church with Pastor Cesar Chavez officiating. Concluding service will take place at Mountain View Cemetery with an interment.
Serving as pallbearers are Victor Cabrera Jr., Moses Cabrera, Abraham Cabrera, Daniel Krowl, Kenneth Teague Jr. and Thomas Wilson. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Juan Dominguez and Frank Bahrami.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made at Western Heritage Bank in Adams name.
