Betty Kay Snow (Wood) passed away on January 7, 2013, at age 72, in Alexandria, Virginia.

She was the oldest of three children born to W. A. Wood and Betty Mae Wood (Craig) of Deming, New Mexico.
Kay, as she was known, was born in Deming, NM on March 16th, 1940. She graduated Deming High School in 1958 and that same year married Coy L. Snow.
While embracing life as a wife and homemaker, Kay was also a wonderful mother to their four sons. She enjoyed her daily bible studies, coffee with the ladies and her arts & crafts. She liked dabbling in ceramics, painting, sewing and stained glass.
Kay also loved to share and teach others these same skills. She had a wonderful sense of humor, and in later years entertained everyone with wonderful stories of her life.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Kay was preceded in death by her husband, Coy L. Snow, both parents, and brother Jerry Wood.
She is survived by her brother Joe Wood of South River, NJ; her four sons and their wives: Michael K. Snow and his wife Amanda of Albuquerque, NM ; Timothy K. Snow and wife Cindy of Tucson, AZ; Patrick K. Snow and wife Dora of Tucson, AZ; and Mark K. Snow and wife Kelly of Springfield, VA; 12 grandchildren: Rebecca Knowles and her husband Peter, Samantha Snow, Travis Snow and his wife Sindi, Jeremy Snow and his wife Amanda, Elliott Snow, Kristina Harrison, Amanda Harrison, Alexander Mayes, Matthew Snow, Alex Snow and his wife Nicole, Nathan Snow, and Rachel Snow; and 3 great-grandchildren: Jasper Snow, Lily Knowles and Evelyn Knowles.
