Tim B. Hassman, a lifelong resident of Deming, passed away Thursday May 30, 2013 at Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces.

A prayer vigil will be this Friday, June 7th at 7 o'clock in the evening at Baca's Funeral Chapel. A memorial mass will be Saturday morning at 11 at Holy Family Catholic Church with Fr. Ron Machado, Pastor officiating. As were his wishes, cremation has taken place.
Tim was born August 30, 1962 in Deming to Everett and Veronica Hassman. He was a 1980 graduate of Deming High School and afterward entered the United States Army.
Upon his return he held several jobs in Deming. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and over the years he and his family were always active and helpful with the annual Klobase.
He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren and always enjoyed watching professional wrestling on television and playing with his dogs.
Tim is survived by his children, Brent Hassman (Ashley) of Deming, Wesley Rumbaugh of Austin, TX, Charlotte Hassman-Blackburn (Aaron) of Chesapeake, VA, Jessica DeLoso of Deming, Kimberly Hassman of Deming; his brother, Aaron Hassman of Deming; other siblings are Renee Fernandez of Tempe, AZ, Denise Hoagland of Mesa, AZ; and his 7 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parent's, Everett and Veronica, and by a grandson, Riley Hassman.
