Our beloved son, grandson, nephew and cousin, Aidan Josue Torres, 3 years old, went to heaven to be an angel on Sunday, October 13, 2013 at Cook's Children's Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born December 28, 2009 in Las Cruces to Jose M. Torres and Cynthia E. Ortiz. Besides his parents, Aidan is survived by his maternal grandparents, Fernando and Lina Ortiz of Deming; paternal grandparents, Raul A. and Graciela Torres of Mesquite; two uncles, Allen Ortiz of Deming, and Martin Torres of Mesquite; two aunts, Elvira Y. Torres of Florida, and Graciela "Chely" Torres of Mesquite as well as numerous cousins. Visitation for Aidan will begin at 6 p.m. Friday, October 18, 2013 in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 125 W. Mesquite Street in Mesquite where the Prayer Vigil is scheduled for 7 p.m. Family and Friends will join together to celebrate the Mass of the Angels at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 19, 2013 in the same church with Reverend Martin Cordero officiating. The Rite of Committal and Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery, 5140 W. Picacho Avenue where he will be laid to rest.
