The years I lived off of Monroe Avenue were filled with fond memories of visiting your shop. You always had a smile and kind words to share. Your journey here included touching the lives of thousands of people ...and I am still in shock that you are gone. I hope that you can look down and see all the people you have touched. Monroe Ave will never be the same without you Aaron. Brightest blessings to your family ...may you watch over them and smile at the love that surrounds them in this difficult time. xoxo

I will never forget the time i saw you out at vertex many years ago. You were upset about something which i have never seen you as before. After talking with me for a couple of minutes about it i asked you if you feel better and that i have never seen you upset about anything and you responded with a smile "Yeah, thanks, I guess I cant be a fat, bearded, tie-dyed super hero all the time." I was in tears with laughter after that as were you:) Fact of the matter is though Aaron, you were a super hero to a lot of people in this life, myself included. From a tie-dyed super hero to a tie-dyed angel keeping heaven cool. You will be missed. Be well Aaron.

Aaron was a friend of mine from the times he pushed his T-shirt cart around Monroe Ave to the present. When I was in Rochester just a couple of weeks ago we visited and as usual he lifted my spirits. His interest in The Urantia Book was always an inspiration to me and the spiritual study groups he once had occasionally at his home were always looked forward to by me very much. I am sure he is now experiencing firsthand what the spirit of God had been revealing to him as true for the past two and half decades if not more. I love you Aaron and I look so forward to our paths crossing again someday. You are now there in heaven to help Jesus prepare the way for the rest of us so enjoy your work and try not to feel too sorry for us who are still stuck here. A more beautiful and loving soul as Aaron is rarely met on such a backwards world as this one. I feel blessed indeed having known Aaron. He is surely someone who will live forever! Happy trails, Brother!

I was with Aaron at that show friday night. This is so hard to accept. He's such a great guy. Whenever I saw him, he was happy to see me. He takes so much love with him. I know he's happy now. And with Jerry, and shining love down on his friends. All that loved him, and cared, and there are many of us, I send you vibes of strength, and peace. (((((((Aaron)))))))

I was upset when I heard of the passing, my 21 yr old daughter asked me what was wrong, and I told her a great man, a solid part of our community passed away. She asked me who, when I told her you passed, my daughter cried...she knew you, you spoke to her, she thought you were just the best guy. In the crossings of generations, you have made a difference to many, never to be forgotten.

We meet a lot of people that come in & out of our lives & we're very lucky if we meet someone as great a human being as Aaron Plunkett. He had a kind soul and was just cool to everyone he met. You know his Momma raised him right! I wouldn't see Aaron for years at a streatch, I'd walk into the store and we'd pick right up where we left off. Aaron will be missed by all because everyone was his friend but his spirit lives on in all the lives he touched because thats who he was, a GOOD SOUL!

I bought my twin girlies thier very first tye-dyes at Aarons Alley almost 15 years ago. They first wore them as nightgowns, then as t-shirts, then they were handed down to 2 of thier favorite teddybears. I have so many memories of Aaron, the store, and his incredible light. He will truly be missed. When ever i see tye-dye, or listen to my greatful dead i will smile upwards towards you Aaron, knowing you're up there with jerry now will always be the comfort i need to get through the sad times...
