Lisa, many years have passed since I've seen you and Brett, but it seems like only yesterday that we all met at 46 School. My boys adored Brett as did I. I remember so well his kind heart, his reassuring smile, his quirky sense of humor and his Elvis music! He was the kind of teacher that kids remember for a lifetime! We are all so saddened by the news of Brett's passing! You and your family are in my prayers. May the angels give you strength during this difficult time.

We are so sad to hear about your loss. Brett was our daughter's kindergarten teacher at #46 and we loved him. He created a warm, fun-loving environment for the kids. They all had such a bond by the end. We still talk about what a great year that was. I remember stories of him playing football at recess everyday with the kids and playing his albums at nap time (Grateful Dead maybe?) He'll be missed.

To Brett's Family & Friends,

Brett was the most unique guy I ever had the pleasure of knowing.

Brett had an ability to make anyone happy / put in a good mood / laugh / smile...Brett had this gift to invoke any type of positive emotion in someone; no matter our mood.

At Fisher, Brett was 1 of my BEST friends. I lived directly across the hall from him & Mike Bewley. We spent so much time together. I never had a bad thought or feeling toward him.

He was truly, someone to be amazed by...

Lastly, Brett had this signature "smile / giggle" that, like him, can NEVER be replicated.

We will never forget Brett & ALL the great times and memories... that he created for so many of us !!

My deepest sympathies to you all...

I remember when you, Nic, would organize weddings up on Grandpa's hill and Caroline and Brett were the "happy" married couple. Geoff was in the wedding ceremony, too, but I can't recall what role he played. You must have been around nine or so. The others were several years younger. It was pretty cute, especially little Brett, who would get all shy and giggle like crazy. Whenever he laughed, I always cracked up. What a little rascal.
