Heilman, Mary Ann
Rochester: Passed away peacefully on September 14, 2013 at age 86. Mary was born in Pleystein, Germany on March 8, 1927. She moved to the United States when she was two weeks old. After graduating from Holy Family High School, Mary met the love of her life, Joe. She went on to enjoy many happy years as his wife and mother to their two children. Mary enjoyed painting, cooking, working on her puzzles and, most of all, visiting with friends and family.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Amy Price and her husband Chris, of Houston, Texas; three great-grandsons; her brother, Frank Bauer and his wife Kathy, of Zephyr Cove, NV, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph O. Heilman, daughter, Judy (Heilman) Katrana, and son, Joseph "Scoopy" Heilman. The family of Mary wishes to thank the neighbors, new and old, of Shoreway Dr. as well as all of the family and friends who have given so much support the past few months.
Mary Ann's Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 12th 2013, 9:30 AM at St. Mark's Church, 54 Kuhn Rd. Rev. Louis Sirianni will be officiating. A lunch will follow the funeral in the reception hall at St. Mark's Church. Interment will be held privately. I love my aunt Mary so much and will miss her. Although the miles separated us for so many years, she will always remain a huge part of my life.
