Adams, Grace S. (Smith) Churchville: January 22, 2015 at age 84. Predeceased by her husband, Maynard Adams; daughter, Alice Ann Adams; granddaughter, Jamie Lee Mason; parents, Ralph & Elizabeth Smith; brother, Claude Smith. She is survived by her children, Martin Adams, David (Susan) Adams, Burton (Judy) Adams, Martha (Paul) Schad, Linda Mason; several grandchildren & great grandchildren; sister, Mary (Patrick) Gillen; several nieces, nephews and cousins. To light a candle of remembrance, visit www.alifecelebrated.com Grace's visitation will be on Tuesday from 11 am to 1 pm at the funeral home, 21 S. Ahlgren, Donald W.  
Ahlgren, Donald W. Rochester: Formally of Rhode Island and Bradenton, Florida. Born in R.I. on June 29, 1925 and died on January 20, 2015 at age 89. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Greta in 2004 and parents C. Webster and Edith Ahlgren. He is survived by his daughter, Ruth (Rev. Jeffrey) Hedin; grandchildren, Stephen (Christine) Hedin, Elizabeth (Philip) Rupp and Andrew Hedin; great grandchildren, the loves of his life, Autumn, Harper, and Riley Hedin and Owen Rupp. Also survived by his brother in law, E. Edward (Barbara) Hahne, nephew, Eric Hahne and niece Kristin Greene. Don was an Eagle Scout. He served in WWII as an aviation cadet with the U.S. Navy. He attended the University of Rhode Island and worked for the Old Colony Cooperative Bank in R.I. as a vice president. He was a member of the Manchester Lodge and Cranston Rotary. He was proud of his Swedish Heritage, being called Morfar by his grandchildren and great grandchildren and was a lifelong Lutheran, belonging to Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Warwick, R.I., St. Andrew's Lutheran Church in Charlestown, R.I., Trinity Lutheran Church in Bradenton, Fl. And St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Pittsford, N.Y. He and Greta travelled extensively during their retirement years. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of 3 South at St. John's Home for the care and compassion they extended to Don and his family. Friends may call at St. Paul's Lutheran Church on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 10 am, followed by a Memorial Service at 11am. Burial will be in R.I. this summer. Amberger, Kathryn (Forbes) Pittsford: January 19, 2015 at the age of 87 years. Predeceased by her husband, Alfred W. Amberger and a son, Dr. Robert Amberger. She is survived by her children, Christy (George) Kisha of Rochester, Susan (Jerry) Krizan of East Rochester & Eric (Louise) Amberger of Bloomfield; 8 grandchildren, Stephen (Christina) Kornienko, Ben & Robbie Amberger and their mother, Joanne (Mark) Druziak, Shari (Joshua) Wilson & Katie Krizan and Grant, Gabrielle & Camille Amberger; a great granddaughter, Cora Isabelle Wilson; nieces, Linda Forbes, Marti Berger & Mary Varon; nephew, Donald (Marilyn) Amberger. Kathryn was an RN graduate of the Highland Hospital School of Nursing. She worked at Highland Hospital and taught at the Rochester School of Practical Nursing. A Memorial Service for Kathryn will be held on SATURDAY, January 24th at 2:00pm in the chapel at St. John's Home, 150 Highland Drive in Rochester.
