She is survived by her children, Marie Finniefrock, Charles Skellen Jr., Sheila Kale, and Charmayne Parkhurst; loving companion, Larry Delahooke; 7 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave, on Sunday, Feb 7, at 2:00pm. Interment private. Contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. Pesce, Elaine M. Gates: Passed peacefully Saturday, February 6, 2016. Predeceased by her parents, John and Jean Soldi; in-laws, Frank and Frances Pesce; sister, Rose Gingello; brother, John Soldi; half-sister, Rita Giuliano, half-brother, Louis Soldi. She is survived by her husband, Anthony; daughter, Debra (Jerry) Lanctot; son, Frank (Theresa) Pesce; grandchildren, Jared, Frankie, Alana and Michael; sister-in-law, Pat Soldi; many nieces and nephews; beloved pets, Mia, Cisco and Bella. There will be no prior calling hours. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 AM Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at St. Theodore's Church, 168 Spencerport Rd., Rochester. Phillips, Jean E. (Hart)  
Phillips, Jean E. (Hart) Rochester: Passed away peacefully on January 31, 2016 at the age of 95. Predeceased by her husband, Dr. Harry S. Phillips M.D., brother, Jack Hart; sister, Lillian Hart. She is survived by her loving family, daughter, Cheryl Furgeson (Larry) of Oregon; daughter, Linda Phillips Teitel of Massachusetts; son, Mark Phillips(Sheryl) of Rochester; granddaughter, Georgina MacAdams (Timothy); great-grandsons, Hudson & Logan MacAdams and several beloved nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her very special sister, June Corbett of Florida. Jean graduated from West High school & attended Rochester Business Institute. She worked for a period of time at the University of Rochester Medical School where she was involved in the Manhattan Project during World War II. It was there she met a handsome young medical student, Harry S. Phillips, who would become her husband for over 50 years. Jean had an adventurous streak and enjoyed traveling with her husband to Europe, Greece, Egypt, Russia, Japan and Thailand, to name a few. She would not hesitate to jump in her son's seaplane for a sightseeing trip over Niagara Falls or the Finger Lakes. Jean was a long time member of the Episcopal Church of St. Luke's & St. Simon Cyrene where she served on the Vestry, the Altar Guild & the Pastoral Care Committee. She selflessly volunteered her time to help the sick and those in need. She enjoyed membership in many fine organizations including Women of Rotary, The Century Club & Literacy Volunteers where she taught an Asian couple how to speak English. She was a beloved member of her neighborhood book club for many years. However, throughout her life, her main focus was always her family. Special thanks to the wonderful caring staff at Cottage Grove, The Friendly Home (Seldon Place & Memory Care) & Rochester Lifetime Assistance (Hospice Care). Pilato, Melchiora "Millie" Batavia: Melchiora "Millie" Pilato, 85, of Batavia passed away peacefully on Friday Feb. 5, 2016 at UMMC in. She was born on Sept. 8, 1930 in Italy to the late Giuseppe & Anna (Zambito) DiSalvo. Millie is predeceased by her husband Calogero "Charlie" Pilato. She is survived by her daughters; Paula (Thomas) Pilato Mullen, Anna Pilato, and Josette Pilato. All are invited to call on Monday Feb. 8, 2016 from 3:00PM-7:00PM at Gilmartin Funeral Home & Cremation Co, Inc. 329-333 West Main St. Batavia, NY 14020. A 9:30AM Mass of Christian Burial will be held Feb. 9th at Resurrection Parish (St. Mary's) 18 Ellicott St. Batavia, NY 14020. She will be entombed in St. Joseph's Mausoleum. Polkowski, Lois C. (Craft) Webster: Died peacefully at home with her daughter by her side on Saturday, January 30, 2016, age 94. Predeceased by her husband, Henry; sisters, Eleanor Bird, Doris Nortier, Marion Ellis & Grace Latsch. She leaves her daughter, Vicki (Tom Callahan); son, George; 2 grandchildren; sisters, Jane (George) King, Trudy Austin; many nieces & nephews. Lois worked for Kodak during WWII and later she was employed at Harris Corporation making radios for the military. She was a long time member of the United Methodist Church of Webster. Lois had a passion for knitting and for many years created sweaters, hats and mittens for children and donated them to the Hope House in Webster and also the Rochester General Hospital. Lois also loved gardening and could always be found tending to her flowers or working in the yard. She was an avid New York Mets and Buffalo Bills fan. She never missed watching a game. No prior calling. Friends are invited to her Memorial Service 11:00 AM Saturday at United Methodist Church of Webster, 169 E. Main St. Webster.
