Eakin, Martha Pittsford: Monday, May 2, 2016 at age 92. Predeceased by her parents, Robert and Margaret Eakin; siblings, Audrie Meyers, Robert Eakin, James Eakin and Marguerite Eakin; Brother-in-law, Charles Meyers; sister-in-law, Margaret Eakin. Survived by her nephew, James R. Meyers; niece, Bonnie E. Nilsson; great-niece, Aubree Nilsson-Monu; along with many wonderful friends. Her Graveside Prayers will be held Wednesday (May 4th) 11:00 at Riverside Cemetery. Meet at the main gate. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House of Rochester or the charity of one's choice in her memory. Elder, Elinor (Goertz)  
Elder, Elinor (Goertz) East Bloomfield: May 1, 2016, at age 86. She is survived by eight children, Nancy (Richard) Backus, of Rochester, Jessie (Nigel) James, of England, Lesesne (Phillip) Shafer, of Walden, Tait (Lloyd) Powell, of Severna Park, MD, Lydia Archer, of E. Bloomfield, Robert (Faye) Elder, of Bristol, VA, Mary Grace (Marty) Graham, of Kendall and John (Erica) Elder, of Brooklyn; 35 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Connell, of New York and Jacqueline Moreau, of Maine; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, F. Kingsley Elder, Jr., in 2008. Elinor was formerly of Rochester. She taught private piano lessons for many years. Elinor earned a Bachelor's degree, in 1971 and a Master's degree, in 1981, from the Eastman School of Music. She also earned a Master's degree in Library Science from SUNY Buffalo, in 1990. Elinor was a member of the Beta Phi Mu International Library Science Honor Society. She was an active member of the Covenant Presbyterian Church in Greece, where she taught Sunday school and played the piano and organ. Elinor was an avid reader and taught all her children to read, before they started school. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Her memorial service will be held at a later date and time to be announced. Interment will be in East Bloomfield Cemetery. Arrangements are by Johnson-Kennedy Funeral Home, Inc., Bloomfield. Eshelman, Darin Lee Rochester: Passed away on April 28, 2016 at age 54. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Ed & Flora Eshelman, Alvin & Edna Rhodes; his beloved labs, Potter & Millie. He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Lorraine (Finley) Eshelman; parents, Donald & Diane (Rhodes) Eshelman; siblings, Duane (Mary) Eshelman, Doreen Miller, Dawnette (Mark) Serra, Derek (Debbie) Eshelman; sister-in-law, Chris (Randy) Dobson; nieces & nephews, Brian & Stephen Eshelman, Tiffany Serra, Sam & Valerie Miller, Davin & Amber Eshelman, Casey & Kadie Weed; many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. Family and friends are invited to call on MONDAY, May 2nd from 2-4 PM at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 3325 Winton Road South, where a memorial service will follow in the interfaith chapel of the funeral home on MONDAY at 4:30 PM.
