Bennett, Theresa (Oliver) Henrietta: May 13, 2015 at the age of 92. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Theodore G. Bennett. Survived by her daughter and son in law, Nancy & Gary Mandell; grandchildren, Kimberly (John) Donnelly & Gary (Kate) Mandell, Jr.; great grandchildren, Nicholas & Matthew Donnelly and Jacey & Dominic Mandell; also survived by nieces & nephews. The family would like to thank the staff of Faith 4 East at Monroe Community Hospital for their loving care of Theresa. Brennessel, John R.  
Brennessel, John R. Dansville/Wayland, NY: Age 74, passed away peacefully May 14, 2015 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. John was born June 11, 1940 in Lyons, NY the son of Gertrude Elizabeth (née Thielges) and Nicholas Peter Brennessel and was raised in Dansville, NY. He attended Dansville Senior High school, graduating in 1958 and went on to earn an Associate Degree in Applied Science and a Bachelors of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, both from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and earned his New York State Professional Engineer license in 1977. He was employed as a Civil Engineer for the New York State Department of Transportation for 38 years, retiring in 1995. After his retirement from the State of NY, he went on to work for various consultants throughout the Rochester and Buffalo regions, successfully overseeing many construction projects until his second and final retirement in 2013. John enjoyed many hobbies and activities including weather forecasting, stargazing and astronomy, jogging, cross country skiing and tobogganing, softball, garage-puttering, traveling to casinos in the motor home with his wife and his buddy Slots the dog, hiking waterfalls with his sons, letting his daughter beat him at tennis and watching birds, baseball (go Sox!), football (go Browns!) and basketball. He is predeceased by his parents, two brothers - Richard and Peter, four uncles - Paul, Bernard, Raymond and John Thielges; and is survived by his wife of 52 years, Doris, his children Barry (Dave Skanderson) Brennessel of Silver Spring, MD, Darren (Dawn Sargent) Brennessel of Rochester and Bonnie (Matt Hogan) Brennessel of Fairport, his grandcat Eartha, his granddog Miles, a sister Barbara Torpey of Dansville, a brother David of Canandaigua, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. No prior calling hours. Private interment at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations can be made to Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd., Fairport, NY 14450. Broccolo, Felix L. Honeoye: May 17, 2015 at age 81 years. Felix passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family, following a courageous battle with Alzheimer's. He was a warm and compassionate man who always placed his family and friends first. Felix had a long and distinguished career in the Electronics field, eventually retiring as COO and Vice President of Horizon Aerospace. He is predeceased by his loving wife of 36 years, Lucy (Ange), parents Albert and Esther Broccolo, and granddaughter Jacqueline Dispenza. Survived by his devoted wife, Sally (Dispenza), mother-in-law Angeline Guggino; children, Albert (Laurie), Susan (Derek) Fiandach, Michael (Jan Henry), and Lori Broccolo; sisters, Madeline (Phil) Giofrida and Carol (Patrick) Grasso; step children, Joseph (Patricia), Patrick (Maureen), Karen, and Louis Dispenza; grandchildren, Angelo, Dominic and Nina Fiandach, Maryanne, Vincent, Michael, Gino, Salvatore, and Nicholas Broccolo; Matt (Kathleen), Jessie (Marissa), Rachel, Paul, Mitchell, and Samantha Dispenza. He is also survived by several sisters/brothers-in-law, and many nieces & nephews. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. The family wishes to thank the Nurses, Aids, and Staff of the Ewing Wing at the Thompson Continuing Care Center in Canandaigua for their kind attention to Mr. Broccolo and his family. Friends may call Wednesday, May 20th, from 2-4 & 6-8pm at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home Inc., 8624 Main Street, Rte 20A, Honeoye, NY. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 10:30 AM., at St. Mary's Church, Route 20A, Honeoye.
