Adams, Linda M. Rochester: July 18, 2015. Passed away peacefully July 18, 2015. Predeceased by her brother, Jim Bethany and sister, Barbara Voelkl. Survived by her long time partner, Sue Sheldon; nieces, Heather (Aaron) Carnell, Tracy (Travis) Masterson, Andrea (Shaun) Kennedy; nephews, Cory (Andrea) Voelkl, Casey (Lindsay) Voelkl; great nieces, Sophie Carnell and Madelyn Kennedy. Many dear friends share her family's loss. Linda was a retiree of Xerox who found tremendous joy in tending to those she loved with uncommon selflessness and unwavering devotion. A memorial celebration of her life will be held Tuesday, 11 AM at the funeral chapel (2305 Monroe Ave.). In lieu of flowers, a most appreciated donation may be made in Linda's honor to Mount Carmel House, 288 Frisbee Hill Rd., Hilton, NY 14468. Agnew DDS, Frederick L. "Ted"  
Agnew, Frederick L. DDS, "Ted" Penfield: July 18th, 2015, at age 98, predeceased by his wife, Josephine. He is survived by his sons, John (Susan) of Cleveland OH, Robert (Jeanne) from Norfolk, MA, and his daughter, Christine McClelland (Penfield); grandchildren, Timothy (Ania), Mark (Catherine) McClelland from Rochester, Allison Agnew, Washington DC, Kimberly (Stan) Kempton from New Orleans, LA, Kristen (Jason) Pruitt from Atlanta, GA; sister, Suzanne Elliott (Rochester) and 8 great-grandchildren. Ted served in the US Navy, Dental Corp as a Lt. Commander in WWII. He practiced dentistry in Rochester, NY for 36 years, before retiring in Citrus Springs, Florida for 32 years, where he enjoyed golf, entertaining and relaxing. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, August 2nd at 1:30 PM, at the Penfield United Methodist Church at 1795 Baird Road, Penfield, NY, followed by a reception at the church. There will be no previous calling hours. Becker, Doris M. (Jones) Webster/Penfield: July 22, 2015. Doris was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Harry E. Becker and sister, Lois Grosser. She is survived by her children, Steven G.T. (Suzanne) Becker, Marcia (Thomas) Dietz, Andrea Tarabek and Glenn E. Bruno, Marguerite K. Penfield: Marguerite K. Bruno, 97, longtime resident of Mattydale, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015 at St. John's Greenhouse Homes in Penfield, NY. Born and raised in Mattydale, Marguerite was a graduate of Vocational High School and was the daughter of the late Albert and Aurelia (DePan) Kurtz. She resided in Mattydale for 92 years before moving to Penfield five years ago to be closer to her daughter and son-in-law. Marguerite retired after many years as a retail clerk for several area department stores in the Syracuse area including Dey Brothers, Sibley's, and Kaufmann's. She was known for her master lingerie fitting skills for the stores and was a former member of the Salina Civic Seniors. In addition to her parents, Marguerite was predeceased by her siblings and their spouses: Albert (Ida) Kurtz, Betty (Bob) Chapman, Dorothea (Paul) Payette, Eddie (Marion) Kurtz, Elizabeth "Lolly" Kurtz and Harold McLaughlin. Marguerite is survived by her daughter, Elnora (Calvin) Cooper of Rochester, NY; a sister, Aurelia "Tinka" McLaughlin of Manlius; a special niece and nephew, Peggy Millert and Tim Kurtz; and her very special friends: Shirley and George Rose and Hazel Carrick. Contributions in Marguerite's memory may be made to the Humane Assn., 4915-1/2 W. Taft Rd., Liverpool, NY 13088 or to Habitat for Cats, P.O. Box 25637, Rochester, NY 14625.
