Czamanske, Jacqueline (Lynch) Rochester/Conesus Lake: Rochester/Conesus Lake. Jackie was born on August 7,1957 in Rochester, NY and died suddenly on March 11, 2015. Jackie brought light into the world with her spontaneity, her big smile and love of life. She grew up in Irondequoit and Gates, NY. She graduated from Buffalo State College with a degree in Education. She furthered her education with advanced degrees from Nazareth College and St. John College. Jackie was a born Educator. Curious, encouraging, nurturing, challenging and devoted to her work in alternative learning education. Her career was spent at RIT, Genesee Valley BOCES, Monroe #1 BOCES and most recently Greater Southern Tier BOCES. She also taught Graduate courses at Nazareth and SUNY Brockport. Jackie and her long time companion and love Paul Gifaldi, enjoyed theatre, antiquing, visiting wineries,boating on the lake and travelling. Jackie's family was of greatest importance to her. She leaves her Mother: Brigette Aroesty, Children: Duncan Czamanske and Tyler Czamanske-Rankin (Tyler), Sisters: Christine Crawford (Gary), Irene Melfi (Michael), Nieces and Nephew: Becky Melfi, Katie Crawford and Tim Crawford and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. She also leaves her beloved dog Georgia Rose. A Celebration of Jackie's life will take place on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at Glen Iris Inn in Letchworth State Park from 1-4 pm. D'Amico, John Salvatore Geneva: John Salvatore D'Amico, 87, of Geneva, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Highland Hospital in Rochester. Family and friends may call Thursday, April 30 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the McGuigan & Bero Funeral Home, 45 High Street in Geneva. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 1 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home, and 10:30 a.m. at St. Stephen's Roman Catholic Church. Burial will be at Glenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the House of John, 14 Spring Street, Clifton Springs, NY or Bivona Child Advocacy Center, 275 Lake Avenue, Rochester, NY. John was born on December 24, 1927 in Geneva, the third son of the late Joseph and Everina D'Amico. He was a graduate of DeSales High School and Freeman Business School. He served for a short time in the U.S. Navy during World War II. John started his long career as an accountant at the American Can Co., followed by Geneva General Hospital where he served as controller. Along with his brother, Peter, he founded D'Amico Chrysler Plymouth in 1963. When he retired from the dealership in 1979, he developed and sold real estate for a number of years. John was also active in politics, including serving on the Geneva School Board where he chaired the building campaign for the school campus on Carter Street. He was a member of St. Stephen's Church, the Knights of Columbus, the Kiwanis Club, the Sons of Italy and the American Legion. John will be remembered for his great love of his family, life and travel, especially to Italy. He was incredibly proud of his Italian heritage. He was a devoted husband, an incredible father, an outspoken man and loyal friend. John is survived by his daughters: Catherine D'Amico (Scott Byers) of Fairport; Marie (Thomas) Ramsay of Rochester; and Allie D'Amico of Fairport; his brothers Charles and Peter D'Amico; his sisters-in-law Patricia and Mary D'Amico, and several nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his wife, Madeline; his siblings Francis and Joseph D'Amico and Mary Sroka; and sisters-in-law Joan and Mary D'Amico. deSa,Victor Joseph, M.D. Churchville: On April 24, 2015 at age 72. Son of the late Vivian and Mary Ann deSa and brother of the late Rose D'Silva and Helen D'Souza. Victor is survived by his loving wife of 42 years Carmen; daughters Juanita (Val Frias) deSa, Deborah (Roger Sequeira) deSa, Melissa (Sean DaSilva) deSa; grandchildren, Ariana and Melania Frias, Kyle and Sophie Sequeira, Sonia DaSilva; and sister Vera Noronha. Victor moved to the US from India in 1971 and completed a surgical residency at Genesee Hospital. He ran a private practice with Dr. Magdi Credi in Batavia, NY for thirty years. He served on the boards of UMMC, Home Care & Hospice and the Goa-America Heart Foundation.
