Garofolo, Samuel C. "The Bear" Webster: June 29, 2015 at age 88. Predeceased by his wife, Jennie (Amico); beloved father of Phil (Sue), Carol Murray (John), Peter (Rose), Paul (Kim) and Cathy; devoted grandfather of Phillip, Michael, Conor, Corey, Jessica, Johnny, Peter (Sonya), Sammy, Lia and Jenna; brother of Ange (Eddie); brother-in-law of Ann Iuppa, Caroline Scardino, Rose and Peggy Garofolo; several nieces and nephews. Sam was founder and co-owner of Garofolo's IGA and operated many other businesses in the Rochester area. Sam's Funeral Service will be celebrated Thursday 10:30AM at the Dierna Funeral Home, 2309 Culver Rd. (Near Norton). Those wishing may make contributions to the Ronald McDonald House.

Gleichauf, Lucille A. Irondequoit: Monday, June 29, 2015 at the age of 81. Lucille is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, George J. Gleichauf; children, Lucille(Vincent) Valentino of Canada, Marie Gleichauf, Margaret (Bob) Ralph and George G. Gleichauf; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brothers, Robert (Sharon) Hefner and Milton Hefner. Her family will receive friends Thursday 4:00 - 7:00pm at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). Friends are invited to meet the family Friday 9:30 am at St. Kateri at St. Salomes Church for her funeral mass. Interment will be held in private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to Alzheimer's Association, 435 East Henrietta Road, Rochester, NY 14620. Gonzalez, Lydia Rochester: Passed peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, June 19, 2015, at age 80. She was predeceased by her son, Francisco "Cisco" Cruz. Survived by mother, Angela Vasquez; sons, Mike, Hector (Mary Ann), Kurt, Melvin, Jose (Dorothy Cirrito) Cruz; daughter, Lurdes (Steve Torres) Martinez; several grandchildren & great grandchildren; brothers, sister, nieces, nephews and many friends. Family will receive friends from 5-8 PM on Friday June 26th at New Comer Funeral Home, 2636 Ridgeway Ave., where a Funeral Ceremony will be celebrated following the visitation at 8 PM. Hamlin, Ronald J. (Frog) Brockport: Passed away suddenly, January 24, 2015 in Florida. Predeceased by his parents, William and Marie Hamlin; brother, William Hamlin; sister, Grace DeBeer. Survived by his wife, Judith of 55 years; sons, Joseph and John; daughters, Rhonda and Robin; sisters, Darlene Morgan, Donna Symonds; brother, Charles; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren. Hanselman Jr., Carl Edward  
Hanselman, Carl Edward Jr. Rochester: Carl Edward Hanselman Jr. entered into rest on June 24, 2015 at age 86 after a year of failing health. He died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family and wife of 35 years Lydia Hanselman. Born in Forest Hill PA he attended a one room school house and made quite a man of himself. He worked for the American Can Company in Fairport NY for 48 years, and traveled all over the United States, South America, Puerto Rico and Korea and was well respected for his knowledge. He served in the Air Force and was a radio operator, later teaching the subject. Carl was a catcher for a semi-professional baseball team called the Sunbury Owls. His great loves were his family, his little dogs and sports. He will be greatly missed, but heaven has gained a special Earth Angel. Predeceased by his parents, Carl E. and L. Gwen Hanselman; first wife, Amelia Aikey Hanselman; grandson, Sam Caswell; sister, P. Joan Spangler. He is survived by his wife Lydia Samuel-Hanselman; sons, Wilbur (Ruth) Aikey, Carl J. Hanselman (fiancée, Lisa Kesel); daughters, Marie Hanselman, Judy Hanselman, Debra (Scott) Frarey, Ellen Sampson (David Purlee), Jenny (George) Bornstein-Lewis, Liza (Eric) Rochelson; grandchildren, Jacob, Joel, Abram, Rachel, Joseph (Nichole), Hannah (Bill), Jessika, Amanda, Rachel, Adena, Keith, Eric; great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Samantha, Vincenzo, Madeline, Gavin, Evan, Ryan, Carson, Ryleigh, Elsa; aunt, Hazel Dieffenderfer. Family will receive friends 4-7 PM Sunday June 28, 2015 at New Comer Funeral Home, 6 Empire Blvd. A celebration of his life will be held 10 AM Monday at the John Calvin Presbyterian Church, 50 Ward Hill Road, Henrietta.
