Geraci, Anthony Joseph
Penn Yan: Died on August 4, 2013, surrounded by his wife and children and at peace with the world. He was 86 years old. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ella, and his children Barbara Harvey (Glenn), John (Susan), William (Linda), Michael (Lori) and Anthony (Anne). Nine grandchildren survive to carry on his work for justice and service to his fellow man. He was predeceased by his beloved sister Frances. A native of Rochester, NY, Anthony was born on December 27, 1926 to Italian immigrants Joseph and Madeline Geraci. He graduated from East High School, Alfred University and the University of Buffalo School of Law. His studies were interrupted by service in the US Army during World War II, where he worked as a radio repairman. In 1961 he moved to Penn Yan, NY and spent the next 51 years in his beloved adopted hometown.
Calling hours will be at Townsend-Wood Funeral Chapel, 201 E. Elm St., Penn Yan, NY on Sunday, August 11, 2013 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.
