Carey, Clifford "Tuck"

Ocala, FL: He was born April 24, 1920, on the Allegany Indian Reservation in Salamanca, NY and passed away June 9, 2013 in Ocala, FL. He was predeceased by his wife, Betty; daughter, Barbara; brother, Melvin and sisters, Frances Paddock, Sarah Brink and Nina Loomis. He is survived by his sons from his first marriage, Donald, Thomas, John; who all reside in Ocala, FL. He is also survived by sons, Clifford Jr., Edward, David, Timothy, Jeffrey, Robert and his daughters, Helen, JoAnn, Nancy, Carol, Debra and Sandra from his second marriage. He is also survived by his sister, Norma Cratsley; brother-in-law, John Paddock.

He was a Navy Veteran and served during World War II. Cliff was a stock car driver in his younger days and was a loyal fan of Jeff Gordon. He enjoyed working on old cars and fishing. He was a long time resident of Canandaigua, NY.

Per his request there were no calling hours and or memorial service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Angela S. Santos VFW Post #4781, 9401 SW 110th St., Ocala, FL 34481. Mr. Carey's Interment was 7/2/2013 at the Bushnell National Veterans Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
