Pittsford: Died suddenly on February 27, 2014 while visiting in California. Predeceased by his brother, Keith. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, B.J.; son, Terry (Nancy), daughter, Jane; sons, Rod (Kathy), Tim (Tracy); grandchildren, Stacey (Vickie), Kimberly, Craig, Lindsay, Alex, Samantha, Jake and Jenna; brother, Dean; sister, Marilyn Onest; brother-in-law, Frank Battaglia and several nieces and nephews.

Gerry served in the army in WWII in the Pacific theatre and afterward attended Penn State University graduating in 1951 with a B. S. degree in Industrial Engineering. He retired from Combustion Engineering in 1990 as Director of International Joint Ventures which enabled him to travel worldwide. He was a member of Pittsford Rotary for many years and belonged to American Legion Post 899. He loved his church and volunteered many hours working on the landscaping there. He had many interests but especially enjoyed golfing, gardening, and the Syracuse Orangemen.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 22 at 1 pm at First Presbyterian Church of Pittsford. Donations in his memory may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Pittsford, The Wilmot Cancer Center, or Alzheimer Research.
