. Following his service, he attended Middlebury College and married Eleanor Doxsee, who he met one summer on Block Island. He served his country again in the Korean War
In 1956, Reg and Eleanor moved to Rochester, NY, where Reg began working with his brother at R.H. Britton Machinery Sales. The Brittons were charter members of Hunt Hollow Ski Club and active in the Canandaigua and Rochester sailing communities. In 1971, Reg joined the Rochester Yacht Club, where he raced in a very competitive Soling fleet and served as Commodore from 1983-1984. In his last years, Reg could often be found at the RYC for meals with friends. He always had a great story to tell.
He will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure to meet him.
