Webster: Mon., May 6, 2013, age 86. Predeceased by sisters, Betty Ramsdell, Joan Riedel; grandson, Connor Burns. He leaves his wife of 65 yrs., Pat; children, Bryan (Lisa), Rory (Debi), Debra Fanning, Bradly (Nancy); grandchildren, Garrett, Brooke, Meredith, Dalton and Faythe Burns, Timothy (Pam), Brogan Burns, Michael and Patrick Fanning, Kelly and Betsy Burns; great-grandchildren, Collin, Ryan and Shamus Fanning, Emma, Abby and Jenna Burns; many nieces & nephews. A World War II Veteran, Jack was Owner/Operator of Jack J. Burns Builders, whose slogan was, "The House that Jack Built." Founder of Portable Schools, Inc., innovator of the temporary classroom concept. Established Lakeside Roofing and Siding Materials in 1977. Retired in 2002 and opened Lazy J. Ranch horse farm.
